How high achieving companies use turbulence economy to prepare for even better results and leave competition far behind.

High achieving companies don’t blame the world around them when there’s a growing gap between expectations and reality; they look within their own four walls. They not only create a great growth strategy that will carry them through tough times, but they also understand the importance of executing it well.

Confusion in markets shakes confidence, diminishes the value of financial assets, and gives rise to hesitation about  businesses and (in) consumers. Records, however, inform that shifts in the economic scene also provide unique opportunities for those who are able to look beyond near-term difficulties and seek out occasions. While it is very easy for business cycle to be overcome by the pessimism of the day, it is still alive. Business will need to make its own choices of investment priorities in times of economic disorder. Corporations can either decide to retrench, or to prepare for successful and leadership roles.

EBS have started a research with the purpose of finding out what high achieving companies think about these kinds of choices and approaches, where is (if any) the difference for their managers and how these special times will reflect high achievers genome. The report of this research will include findings and recommendations based on the experience, practices, opinions and intentions of 94 high achieving companies.
