EBS achieves ISO 20000 certificationEBS is the first ISO 20000:2005 certified IT Service Management outsourcing company in Bulgaria.12 January 2010EBS announced 2009 as the fourth consecutive and most successful year for its IT Service Management outsourcing practice. Following the high standards of its clients the company executed an 18 months-long project focused on the design and implementation of ITIL v.3 best practices in its IT Service Management outsourcing department. In order to provide independent 3rd party opinion EBS invited Bureau VERITAS Certification to conduct an audit and verify the newly implement IT Service Management system. As a result EBS achieved ISO 20000:2005 certification which was approved and registered by IT Service Management Forum (itSMF). The scope of the certificate is one of the broadest on an international level and is as follows: ‘The IT Management System that supports provision of the following IT services: Service Desk Operation, Server Management and Support, Windows Network Management, Storage and Archiving, Database Administration, Directory Services Administration, Desktop Support, Internet/Web Management and Application Management to external client organizations as a Service Provider managed.’ By this EBS demonstrates its commitment to the provision of unmatched in quality and scope IT Service Management outsourcing services on the Bulgarian market.
